My first quilt

My son, Jaime and his dog Riley, for whom the quilt was made. And look! They have the same hairstyle! Kisses to my sweeties.

It took almost a year to get it done as I am new at quilting. Luckily I have a friend who owns a quilt shop and she did the quilting part for me. I'm not that handy.

    That's a great quilt! I'm brand new to quilting, too. I decided to sign up for a few quilting classes at Craftsy.com, and they've been inspiring and taken some of the fear out of it!

    I recently pieced lap and twin quilt tops, but I've not yet gotten to the "quilting" part yet.
